Form3 has completed Request for Payment (RfP) certification for the FedNow® Service, marking the latest step in the expansion of its US instant payments proposition. Building on its existing support for the FedNow Service, the certification will enable Form3 to add RfP functionality for customers following production go-live.

The milestone expands the features Form3 can support through its US instant payments offering, giving financial institutions greater flexibility to build new payment experiences and use cases on top of the FedNow Service.

As instant payments adoption continues to grow in the US, financial institutions need modern infrastructure that not only provides access to real-time payments but supports the features and use cases that can encourage greater adoption. Adding RfP to Form3’s proposition will give financial institutions another way to build new real-time payment experiences for their customers.

RfP enables businesses and consumers to initiate requests that can be fulfilled through instant payments, supporting a broader range of use cases and creating more convenient ways for customers to make real-time payments.

Wider enablement of features such as RfP is an important part of making instant payments more useful to businesses and consumers and, ultimately, supporting greater adoption across the US.

The milestone builds on Form3’s continued investment in the US and its cloud-native approach to payments infrastructure, designed to provide financial institutions with resilient, scalable technology for modern payments.

Form3 will now continue its preparations towards production go-live for RfP on the FedNow Service, as it continues to expand the features and capabilities available through its US instant payments proposition.
