Dear Customer,
Every new financial year offers an opportunity to reflect on what we’ve achieved and, more importantly, where we’re going next.
Looking back over the past twelve months, I'm incredibly proud of what the team has accomplished. It has been our strongest year to date, with record transaction volumes and continued growth across our customer base. Every one of those numbers represents more banks, fintechs, financial institutions and end customers trusting Form3 to deliver one of the most critical services in financial infrastructure – helping ensure payments are processed securely and reliably.
We are pleased to have maintained this momentum into our new financial year that started in April, including welcoming our first government customer. This is a fantastic win for Form3, marking the start of a new strategy for us that recognises the need for safe, secure and instant payments beyond just financial services.
Governments rely on payments working every bit as much as banks do. From pensions and benefits to tax collection, the delivery of public services, millions of people and external vendors depend on critical government payments reaching the right place at the right time. When those payments fail, it affects individuals, communities, businesses and confidence in essential public services.
We’re proud that the same cloud-native, resilient infrastructure trusted by many of the world’s leading banks and fintechs is now helping support the delivery of these critical services.
Looking ahead, it would be remiss not to mention recent changes to the UK government.
We are encouraged to see experienced experts who understand our sector and its value taking roles in government. It’s vital that the UK continues to recognise the enormous contribution that fintech makes to both the economy and the financial services sector. Financial services remain one of the UK’s greatest competitive strengths, and maintaining that leadership will require continued support for innovation, investment and the modernisation of financial infrastructure.
At the same time, the broader environment in which we all operate continues to evolve.
Artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing the risk and cybersecurity landscape. Threats are becoming faster, more sophisticated and increasingly automated. Organisations responsible for moving money need to prepare for a world where both attackers and the defences against them are increasingly AI-enabled.
For us, this reinforces something we’ve always believed: payments are a team sport. When money moves between institutions, every participant plays a role in maintaining the security and resilience of the wider ecosystem.
This means that resilience isn’t just about protecting our own platform, which is why we’ve invested in Trust Fabric, a new trust layer designed to help organisations continuously monitor and manage the cryptographic foundations that secure modern payments infrastructure. As the number of certificates grows and their lifecycles become shorter, managing them is increasingly complex. Trust Fabric provides continuous visibility across cryptographic assets, identifying vulnerabilities before they become operational issues and automating remediation, helping customers strengthen both security and operational resilience.
Ultimately, it’s another example of how we’re investing ahead of the market to help our customers remain resilient as the threat landscape evolves.
Of course, AI isn’t only changing the nature of risk. It’s also opening up enormous opportunities.
As AI becomes increasingly agentic, we’re innovating within our own platform to help our customers take advantage of AI safely and responsibly. Every payment involves numerous checks, validations and interactions that happen behind the scenes before money moves. AI agents have the potential to make those processes faster, smarter and more efficient, helping banks and fintechs streamline operations while maintaining the resilience and security their customers expect.
When I look back at the year we’ve just had, I’m immensely proud of the progress we’ve made. But I’m even more excited about what comes next.
The payments industry is entering another period of significant change. Customer expectations continue to rise, new technologies are reshaping how financial services operate, and resilience has never been more important.
We’re approaching that future with confidence – not because we think we’ve finished building, but because we’re continuing to invest in the technologies and capabilities that will deliver better outcomes for our customers and theirs.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and trust.
